The Vaghela dynasty came to power on the throne of Gujarat.
The Vaghelas were loyal chiefs of the Solankis.
The village of Rapalli (Vadhel) was given to Arnoraj. From the name of the village his descendants
are called Vaghela. Thus they too were
of the original Chaulukya caste. In
Vadhelavansh, rulers like Vardhaval, Visaldev, Arjundev, Sarangdev ruled
Gujarat well. During the reign of
Virdhaval, Gujarat had strong ministers like Vastupal and Tejpal. Due to the cunning of these ministers,
Gujarat survived the Muslim invasions.
In the time of Karnadev Vaghela, the last ruler of Vadhela dynasty. Around 1304, the Delhi Sultanate was
established in Gujarat. Bengal was ruled
by the Pala dynasty in the middle of the eighth century.
This dynasty is called 'Palvansh of Bengal'
as the word 'Pal' appears in the back of the names of the founder of this
dynasty and its descendants. The founder of this dynasty was a prince named
Gopal (750-770 AD). After the fall of
the Pala dynasty. The Sen dynasty was
founded in 1095. Vijayasena was the
first notable king in this dynasty. His
son Ballal Sen wrote books called "Dansagar" and
"Adbhutsagar", appointing Sultan Nazimo (Suba) of Delhi after
conquering Gujarat from Karnadev Vaghela.
It was through him that the state was administered. Is. In
1407, Zafar Khan took the name Muzaffar Shah and became the Sultan.
There were fourteen sultans in this dynasty,
including sultans like Ahmad Shah, Mahmud Bagdo, Bahadur Shah. The Sultanate period came to an end with the

Pulkeshi II. When the power of the
Chalukyas of Vatapi weakened, a branch of them was established in the region
between Krishna and Godavari rivers. Its
founder was Vishnuvardhana. These
Eastern Chalukya rulers kept their capital at Vrungi and hence they became
known as Vaigi Chalukyas. Like Vatapi
and Vengi, Kalyani also had a branch of the Chalukya dynasty. These Chalukyas were known as the Chalukyas
of Kalyani.
